E-Commerce Short Course


This course introduces students to the principles involved in building, maintaining and running successful online businesses. It examines foundational e-commerce concepts including the underlying technologies used to implement e-commerce applications. Students will learn how user experience (UX), marketing and search engine optimization (SEO), straight-through processing, hosting, and supply chain management design decisions influence outcomes under different business models, including business to business (B2B), business process outsourcing (BPO) and business to consumer (B2C) scenarios. Mobile applications, social media and internet systems security will be discussed.
